The Groupe Saint Aubin is a food company located in the Burgundy Region, specialized in the creation, the production and the commercialization of fresh and frozen food, both sweet or savory, custom-made or ready to order products.
With a 134 year passionate experience, our company’s products can be found in the key retail businesses as well as in the Food service wholesalers and key renowned outlets all over France and abroad (Germany, Swiss, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Italy…) thanks to our 3 B to B brands:

2020

The 120 company’s passionate employees are focused on developing customers’ benefits and successes. This dynamic is based on creativity, while sharing and transmitting expertise, thus allowing our company to pursue innovative projects for our customers.

2019

Alongside Thierry Lafeuille, the CAPZA investment fund becomes shareholder in order to strengthen the company’s growth potential.

2016

Restructuring and extension of the R&D facilities giving the 6 chefs the capacity to enhance their creativity with new & improved products taking into consideration the ongoing market evolutions and needs.

2016

Award of the most “Responsible & Ethical Company” of the Charolais-Brionnais (Burgundy) Region.

2015

Financial Partners as well as Thierry Lafeuille, as Groupe’s CEO, become shareholders in order to develop new businesses through new distribution channels in France and on International markets.

2001

Acquisition by Groupe Saint Aubin of the company “Les Délices de Janice”, specialized in frozen fine desserts since 1974.

1991

Creation of “Chapuis Surgelés”, a disabled-friendly business, with a specific 3 000m2 unit, thus becoming a market pioneer with its qualitative products and innovative Industrial freezing techniques. IFS certification obtained in 2003.

1986

Henri-Pierre CHAPUIS, great grandson of the founder, expands the family shop by building a 2 500m2 production unit in order to further develop Maison Chapuis’ nationwide success.

1886

Foundation by Henri-Hilaire CHAPUIS of the Family owned Chapuis delicatessen outlet in the heart of the Charolais-Brionnais Region. The business quickly generated a large regional success.

Our company is highly committed to social dialogue, thus exchanging with each employee about its personal skills’ improvement and their possible evolution within the company. Chapuis Surgelés, one of our three businesses, is what we call a "disable friendly" company, with means that it employs a majority of personnel with a physical or mental handicap. As a reward for various humane actions implemented, the company was honored by the award of the most "Responsible and Ethical Company" of Charolais-Brionnais (Burgundy) region.

Local supplies are prioritized (raw materials, services…) and we pay attention to all possible transport optimizations in order to reduce distances. Our company treats its wastes thanks to independent ecofriendly waste facilities equipped with a bamboo-sanitation system, thus preserving the natural environment.

Securing food safety regulations is our first commitment (hygiene, traceability, quality control…). Moreover, we constantly adapt our products and our R&D process to new consumption trends keeping in mind dietetic balance improvements. In order to promote healthier eating, our objective is to maximize recipe changes by removing controversial substances such as: GMOs, ionized ingredients, ago dyes, "E" additives, nanoparticles, palm oil… as well as reducing salt and sugar contents. We act very rapidly upon customer’s demands while also giving helpful suggestions.

One of our key criteria in terms of suppliers’ selection is their policy towards animal well-being (such as non-caged hens…) and their overall commitment to ethical approaches.
